Travel the Christmas Story Nov 27- Dec 25 Drive-to Scenes of the Nativity at Duluth-Area ELCA Congregations The Christmas story is a traveling tale. Prophets prepare the road ahead. God travels into this world to be found among us, born to a regular family in occupied territory, journeying as ordered by the emperor. Angels travel to earth to bring God’s message of good news, favor, and peace. Shepherds and magi travel to discover this One born for them. Under threat of violence, the Holy Family flees to safety. As you drive from site to site, reflect on the movement within this sacred story. God has travelled for us, God travels with us, and God will meet us on the road ahead. With great joy, we invite you into Advent and Christmas season.
