CHUM Food Shelf Our Savior's is the distribution site for the western part of Duluth. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 2pm. This is an ongoing need in the community. Recently you may have read that contributions are down as usage continues to gradually go up. Please consider donations to the food shelf. You may also bring non-perishable food items to the church as well.
Support Groups that meet at our church
1. Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Tuesday at 7 pm. 2. STOPS Weight Club meets every Wednesday at 5 pm. 3. Gamblers Anonymous meets every Thursday at 7 pm. 4. Overeaters Anonymous meets every Saturday at 9:30 am. (For anyone who desires to stop eating compulsively.)
Renaissance House is a project of Lutheran Social Services. This home in downtown Duluth teaches life skills and provides shelter for homeless teenagers. Our congregation supports this ministry by sponsoring one of the bedrooms and supporting the teens who lives there.
