The Confirmation program is instruction in the Christian faith leading eighth grade students toward accepting more responsibility for their faith and becoming confirmed members of the congregation with the right to vote at congregational meetings. The confirmation process is also called "Affirmation of Baptism," as the promises made by parents in baptism are taken over by students during the rite of confirmation. Confirmation instruction is open to anyone wishing to learn about and affirm their faith in Jesus Christ.
