Welcome to CommunityDay Camp!We are very excited to welcome staff from Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry to lead our Day Camp, hosted at United Lutheran Church, Proctor, with partnership from Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Duluth. All children are welcome to participate. Join us for crafts, games, worship, Bible study, and more!
The Day Camp price is $0, and donations to United are welcome. United Lutheran Church is funding this opportunity so that everyone can participate. In order to be sure there is space for everyone who wants to participate, it is VERY IMPORTANT that if you register, you commit to participating. Please cancel no later than two weeks prior to day camp. Please be sure to register and invite your friends!
Register early and no later than June 28. There are strict ratios that affect the number of staff needed for this event. Registration may close when filled.
Community Day Camp is for Students who just completed Kindergarten - 5th grade* in the 2024-25 School Year: Camp will be Monday- Thursday, 9-3pm, July 14-17 at United Lutheran Church, 701 3rd Ave, Proctor.
Thursday, July 17 will include a closing program at 2:30pm. Adults and siblings are welcome to come and watch!
Stay tuned for information on an evening event for the whole community!
Please pack a lunch and water bottle for your children! United will provide a healthy snack every day. (If providing a lunch is a hardship, let Pr. Liz know and a lunch will be provided).
Youth will need to be signed in and out every day. If a youth is walking or biking alone, please arrange this with Pr. Liz and send a signed note.
Students currently in 7th grade* and older can sign up to volunteer here: https://forms.gle/yhEFwVGXpsLo2sTA8 Volunteers must participate in the Sunday afternoon training session. *6th graders may be either campers or helpers; contact Pr. Liz to have a conversation about your camper's maturity level and interest. Pr. Liz or another adult will be in charge of the youth volunteers in coordination with the VLM staff.
